Life is stressful. Whether you are a child, teen, adult or couple, it is difficult to maintain all of the craziness that you have going on with work, family, spouse, kids, extracurricular activities and not to mention yourself. Do you ever feel like you’re losing hope or are afraid that everything just might fall apart? Life is hard, but it can improve! I am here to help you work through these life stressors. Starting the counseling process is the first step of discovering your courage to live the life you have always desired.

Sherhonda has a gift of encouraging others to bring out the best in themselves with showing compassion and empathy. She is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience working with children, teens and adults. She received her Bachelor's degree from Texas Woman's University for General Studies, with an emphasis on Women's Studies, and completed her Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy in 2017. Sherhonda is currently working on her Doctorate in Leadership in the Global Market Place.

My goal is to create a nonjudgmental, safe space for individuals, couples and/or families to achieve healing in ways that are meaningful to them. With an understanding that healing looks different for everyone, I provide a collaborative approach, including CBT, Solution Focused and Mindfulness. I work with clients to identify goals specific to your life stress, while respecting and valuing your unique experiences, culture, and history.
