Life can get messy and no matter how hard we keep trying to swim, it can often feel like we are sinking. Sometimes we just need a helping hand to show us that change is possible and the growth we are longing for is within us. Mandi believes that healing can begin when people are provided a safe, trusting and non judgmental environment to grow and flourish.
Mandi Dixon is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern with over 5 years of experience working with adults and children in agencies and school settings. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Oklahoma State University and a Master of Arts degree in Human Relations at the University of Oklahoma. Mandi then went on to earn a second Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Mandi completed over 600 hours of internship work in the school systems, where she was a part of Anna ISD's very innovative mental health and crisis intervention program. She worked as a crisis intervention counselor where she did individual, group, parent and crisis counseling with elementary, middle, and high school students for issues including depression, anxiety, home problems, low self-esteem, behavior issues, ADHD, divorce and parenting issues.
